Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on 13 February 1979) is an American model, actress and fashion designer. model. Shortly after beginning her career as a model, she moved into acting, after appearing as a guest on 90's programs on television like Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her debut on film was the show Nowhere that was released in 1997. She made the transition to major roles with her performances as a character in American Beauty for which she received nominations for an BAFTA Award and American Pie each of which garnered more attention. The actress has appeared in American Pie's co-star Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) as well as the role of lead in Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun is an independent film from 2002 and the thriller movie Trauma (2004) was her two most recent appearances. In addition, she was a part of the HBO series Six Feet Under.
