Ann Curry
Ann Curry, an American photographer and journalist who has covered wars and natural disasters for more than 45 years. She focuses on the suffering of those who live in these places. Curry covered wars in Kosovo, Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo. Ann Curry, (born November 19th 1956, Agana American journalist and television anchor and news reporter who is most famous for her job as a reporter on the Today show, a news morning program that was broadcast on the National Broadcasting Co. (NBC). Curry is known for her coverage of human-rights crises as well as natural disasters and natural disasters, particularly in countries affected by the war. Curry's father was a sailor in the U.S. Navy and her mother was Japanese. Her father was with his mother in Japan as a stationed there after World War II. Her father served in the military and her family moved around a lot. Curry completed her high school at Ashland Oregon. Curry graduated in 1978 with an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Oregon. It is possible that she created an empathic communication style through her exposure to other cultures during her childhood.
